Our LUGHNASADH Herbal Tea is a tea inspired by the Celtic fire festival Lughnasadh (pronounced loo-nah-sah). Lughnasadh that marks the midpoint between the summer solstice and autumn equinox and is typically celebrated on or around August 1st.
This tea is a blend of seasonal flowers, fruits, and herbs that evoke the feeling of late summer. Floral herbs like chamomile and calendula represent the sun and Celtic sun god Lugh, whom the festival is named after. Other summer herbs like oats and peppermint are blended with rosehips and blueberries, representing the first harvest of summer.
This tea can be sipped warm on cool summer nights or made iced for those hot summer days.
Aroma + Taste: sweet floral, citrus, mint, smooth
