Our SAMHAIN Black Tea is a blend of seasonal herbs and fruits that correspond to the sabbat of Samhain, the celebration of death and the final harvest.
Samhain (pronounced sow-win) is the most important Celtic fire festival and marks the midpoint between the autumn equinox (Mabon) and the winter solstice (Yule). It is celebrated between Oct 31st - Nov 1st and is often considered to be the Witches' New Year. It is a time of honor and remembrance for those who have passed, the cycle of death + rebirth, and preparation for the long winter to come.
