This new moon in Aries is the epitome of new beginnings. We’re stepping into a new month, new lunar cycle, new lunar year, all with the potential for a fresh start. Aries is the initial spark of all things that drive us forward. Action, inspiration, passion, and confidence are all hallmark themes of this cardinal fire sign.

Aries is also all about Aries - they unapologetically put themself first and act accordingly. They know that if they want to achieve something, they need to take matters into their own hands. They are their own leader and aren’t afraid to forge their own paths forward in pursuit of their goals.

For me, this is some of the best medicine that Aries has to offer. We so often hear (and preach to others) "you need to put ourselves first" but what does that even mean? Yeah, some days this can mean pampering yourself or doing some retail therapy (while proclaiming "TREAT YOSELF" like you're Donna Meagle from Parks and Rec), but all of this doesn't begin to scratch the surface of what putting ourselves first actually looks like.

Putting ourselves first means doing the hard work.

It means focusing on healing ourselves and our core wounds.

It means facing and working on aspects of ourselves that we would prefer to ignore or hide away.

It means actively listening to our bodies and our limits without judgement.

It means giving yourself the time and space to explore and be curious.

It means taking the time for deep rest.

It means being honest with what our wants and needs are and then actively pursing them.

It means confronting fears and challenges in pursuit of our dreams.

t means doing what is in our best interest (even when we don't feel like it).

It means actually prioritizing yourself first without guilt, shame, or fear.

Use this new moon as an opportunity to renew yourself. Be honest about what it is you want and need in your life, commit to making it happen, and most importantly, don't let fear of what you might face or learn hold you back. You've got this, I believe in you ♡
